Tullia Melandri geeft pianoles in Amsterdam. Zij heeft meer dan vijftien jaar ervaring als pianolerares op muziekscholen in Italië en Nederland. Zij kan goed werken met zowel amateurs als met studenten die naar het conservatorium willen gaan. Haar studenten hebben onder meer ABRSM en Trinity College of London examens met goed gevolg afgelegd.

Tullia Melandri gives piano lessons in Amsterdam. She has more than fifteen years of teaching experience from amateur to professional level. She has successfully prepared students to the admission to Conservatory in Italy and students for the ABRSM and Trinity College of London exams in The Netherlands.


Tullia Melandri was born in Faenza and studied piano with Giampaola Bombonati graduating in 1998 at the Conservatory of Rovigo with full marks. In 2002 she graduated in Conservation of Musical Heritage (Musical specialization) at Bologna's Athenaeum. Later she studied with Daniel Rivera at the conservatory of Livorno, achieving the Master in Piano with honors.  She perfectioned in Chamber Music at Siena's Accademia Chigiana with Alain Meunier and Dario de Rosa, graduating at the International Pianistic Academy of Imola "Incontri col maestro" in Chamber Music with Pier Narciso Masi. 

Her passion for historically informed performing practices brought her to The Neherlands, where she studied Fortepiano with Bart van Oort at the Koninklijke Conservatorium of Den Haag, graduating in 2012 with the highest marks. 

She won prizes at Piano, Chamber Music and Fortepiano competitions (2nd prize at the "Geelvinck Square piano competition" - 2011; 2nd prize at "Giulio Rospigliosi"piano competition - 2007; 2nd prize at "Nuovi Orizzonti" chamber music competition - 2006; 3rd prize at "Dino Caravita" chamber music competition - 2005; 3rd prize at "L. Muzii Altruda" piano competition - 1995) and she is active as soloist and in various chamber music formations. She has performed, among others, for Ravenna's "Giovani in musica" festival, Utrecht's "Oude Muziek" festival, Dordrecht's Bachfestival, "Geelvinck Fortepiano Festival", Florence's "Accademia Bartolomeo Cristofori" and Bologna's Villa Aldrovandi - Mazzacorati. 

She recently recorded CD:  Schumann played on a Viennese fortepiano of the 1830s for the Dynamic label.
